Lorena Herzog was working as a student assistant for the project “Research Lab: Constitutional Politics in Turkey” at the Chair for Comparative Political Sciences and the Political Systems of Eastern Europe at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. She is currently a student of the BA programme in Social Sciences at Humboldt-Universität and has spent two semesters as a visiting student at Tel Aviv University. Her research interests include the interplay between political institutions and actors, authoritarianism, populism, and conflict studies, focusing on Eastern Europe and the Middle East.
